Next up are two pictures of JT making a mess at dinner tonight.  Jameson not only loves to eat, but he loves to try and feed himself.  The problem is that he's no good at it:

Finally, tonight was USD's first men's basketball game.  Allison went for the whole thing, and JT and I walked up for the second half.  He had a great time, especially staring at the cheerleaders ("Nice pom-poms!").  Then he fell asleep.  Here he is with his mother once we got back:

So imagine my happiness to receive an email this morning from Simple announcing that they now make infant shoes.

I've already declared that Jameson must have at least one pair for Christmas.  (Shhh, don't tell him what he's getting.)  Granted, he already has some really sweet kicks, but he simply must have a pair.

He usually rides facing out to see the world.  But on our walk back, he was getting tired so I turned him around to face my chest.  Within three minutes, he was asleep.  I absolutely adore when he sleeps on me like this.  I walked the long way home to have more of this precious time with him. 

I think often these days of how fragile life is, and how fortunate we are to have Jameson despite some of that fragility.  I think of Clayton and Erin, and how they no longer have Weston to hold and gaze upon.  I don't want to ever time my time with Jameson for granted; but unfortunately I know I sometimes do.

He's such a Littler.
