Unbearable lightness of posting...

In addition to today being the feast day of Thomas Aquinas, it was also the first day of the spring semester.

Rather surprisingly, this is the first semester since I've been at USD that I haven't had a new prep.  I'm teaching two sections of Virtues and Vices; today, I showed Obedience, the film about the Milgrim experiments.  It's always fun for me to watch the students watching the film.  I'm also teaching a section of my philosophy of religion course.  So it should be a fun semester of teaching, as each of these is a class I really enjoy teaching.

Posting will likely be light over the next few weeks (months?), as whatever little time I have for blogging will probably go to posting pictures of the newest Timpe over at the Singleton blog (once he/she arrives!).

I'm so distracted by anticipation, it's hard to have two coherent thoughts in a row.  So I'm not sure how much research I'll get done this term.  I should be receiving the page proofs for the free will book soon, and I have a few papers being reviewed by journals.  My primary (and perhaps only) goal for writing this term is to get the section introductions written for Arguing about Religion; I'm going to try and have a draft of each done in time to use in my class, but we'll see if that works out.
