A few weeks back, I posted on what I've done this past year. Below the fold is an overview of what I'm hoping to get done this coming month...
Non-USD:
- prepare for baby
- take care of wife
- buy second car
USD:
- answer any copy-editing questions that arise regarding the free will manuscript (page proofs and indexing will likely take place in February)
- prepare my reappointment file for the ARRT committee (this involves documenting basically everything I’ve done in the past 2 years here at USD)
- finish making cuts on all the book chapters/articles that are going into my textbook
- revise my syllabi for my spring courses
- copy approximately 400 pages and have them put on electronic-reserves for my spring courses
- prepare folders for each individual class for the first three weeks of the term in case colleagues need to cover my courses for a bit after the birth of our child
- write a book review which is already overdue (completely unrelated observation: writing a review of a good book is much easier than writing a review of a not-so-good book!)
- catch-up on some editing duties for the IEP
