I'm not as much of a windbag as I thought...

A few weeks back, I noted that I had finished a draft of chapter 6 and thus needed only to write a conclusion and then make revisions on my free will manuscript.  Since then, I've been working on making the bulk of the needed revisions to chapter seven (including writing the conclusion), and this afternoon I accomplished this task.

I also discovered that I'm not over my length as much as I thought I was.  With chapters in various degrees of revision, it's hard to get an exactly accurate number.  But on one count, as it stands I'm only over my 60,000 word limit by about 600 words.  That's less than 1% and, I happen to think, quite good.  Much better than I would have guessed.  Just a few weeks back, I thought I was going to have to cut upwards of 3,000 words.
