It's not very often that I say this--but sometimes it's nice to live only 90 or so miles from LA. This weekend is one of those times. Allison and her friend Holli were able to get tickets to tonight's Emmy Awards. That's right--they're going to Hollywood! But before you get too excited and start looking to see if they're seated behind Tom Cruise, they don't get to actually go INTO the Kodak Theatre. Instead, their tickets are for the bleachers that line the Red Carpet. I don't think they let the general public in--unless you are lucky enough to get to be a 'seat filler'. Nevertheless, they'll still get to see the famous folks that will be going into the theatre. I'll post more info, as well as perhaps some photos, when they return.

First off, apparently I don't know much about the Emmys. Evidently, the Emmys are about TV, not the movies. So I should never have expected Tom Cruise to be there. One of the 80 billion other award shows is for movies (the Grammys?). Oh well. Here are the pics.
